BECOME A PRODUCER

Our producers are the heart and soul of our organization. Without their hard work, we'd have no food to eat!

If you would like to become a Food Hub producer member, please fill out our application form here. There is a $55 annual membership fee for all members of the co-op. You will be required to read and agree to our supplier contract found here and our Producer Quality and Food Safety Guidelines. Once we receive your application we will set up a training session with you. While you wait, our Producer Manual will guide you through the sign up and selling process.

When selling through the Food Hub, you list your own products weekly based on what you have available, choose the price you would like to be paid for the product and add your own photographs and description. We add a small mark up, do the marketing and promotion and organize distribution.

Each weekend between Friday at noon and 7 pm on Monday, our consumers select their products so it’s best to have everything listed by Friday morning. Monday evening once the order cycle has closed, you receive a full list of purchases for the week. On Wednesday we ask that you deliver your packed Food Hub items to the closest of our 8 drop off locations where our trucking company will pick up all your local goodness. From there, we’ll take care of the distribution to individual consumers leaving you with more time to focus on production, ready for when the cycle starts again on Friday.
